Once you have successfully completed the online portion of your selected CPR module, all you have to do is print out your online completion certificate and schedule a skills evaluation session with an American Heart Association skills evaluator from CPR 4 Life. The skills evaluation consists of a brief skills practice session followed by you showing what you have learned on a CPR manikin. It’s that simple! You will then be given an official AHA course completion card that will be valid for two years.  E-Learning coupled with classroom skills testing, or “blended training”, ensures that you are getting the most out of your CPR and First Aid certification.

In this program, students complete the cognitive portion (Part 1) of BLS for Healthcare Providers training through a series of self-paced online modules. Students answer short multiple-choice questions within case-based scenarios, and receive feedback based on their answers, to proceed through 10 critical checkpoints. This course provides access to 21 optional review sections, including 17 videos from the BLS for Healthcare Providers video, which reinforce the adult, child and infant CPR sequences taught in the course.


This course is for healthcare providers seeking an initial or renewal BLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card. Part 1 can be completed in approximately 1-2 hours; time to complete a practice and testing session (Parts 2 and 3 - Skills testing and practice is less than hour.

This course teaches:

3.How to clean up after exposure
4.How to tell or report any exposure
